How we work

How we run a project

Six stages, each ending in a named document. The process stays the same whatever role we take.

Lifecycle

The six project stages

What happens at each stage, what you receive, and the role we take.

  1. 01. Assess

    What happens

    • Site walk: SLD, transformer, space and access
    • Load and tariff analysis from bills and meter data
    • Sizing options with assumptions shown

    Deliverable

Load & tariff report and sizing options

    Our role at this stage

  2. 02. Design

    What happens

    • Sizing: kW, kWh, degradation and augmentation
    • Protection, cooling and fire-safety layout
    • Vendor-neutral specification and approvals plan

    Deliverable

Design basis report, SLD and specification

  3. 03. Build

    What happens

    • Procurement and factory acceptance tests
    • Civil, electrical and fire-system works
    • Inspection and test plans with hold points

    Deliverable

    Installation records and as-built drawings

  4. 04. Commission

    What happens

    • Alarm, trip, emergency-stop and fire-interlock tests
    • Energy and efficiency tests to IEC 62933-2-1
    • Inspections and audits the rules require

    Deliverable

    Commissioning report and handover dossier

  5. 05. Operate & maintain

    What happens

    • Remote monitoring and alarm response
    • Preventive and corrective maintenance
    • Annual capacity and efficiency tests

    Deliverable

Monthly performance report; annual test report

    Our role at this stage

    What O&M covers
  6. 06. Repurpose & recycle

    What happens

    • State-of-health testing
    • Safe discharge and dismantling
    • Second life or recycling through registered partners

    Deliverable

    End-of-life plan, agreed at contract

    Our role at this stage

Before we start

What to have ready

A phone call is enough to start; these make it more useful.

  • Last 12 months of electricity bills
  • 15-minute meter data, if available
  • Contract demand and sanctioned load
  • Single-line diagram
  • Genset rating, running hours and fuel records
  • Solar capacity and inverter make
  • List of critical loads
  • EV plans: vehicles and parking times

On site

Safety and quality

On site

  • Lock-out/tag-out and permits to work
  • PPE and tools rated for DC work
  • Battery handling procedures
  • Emergency briefing on day one

In the paperwork

  • Inspection and test plans with hold points
  • Torque logs and photos for every termination
  • Nonconformance tracking

Electrical work is done and certified by licensed contractors and supervisors, as Tamil Nadu rules require.

Handover

Training and handover

What your team receives when we hand over a system.

  • Operator training

Operation, alarms, safe isolation and emergency stops, with a signed record.

  • Fire-service familiarisation

A site visit for the local fire station to walk through the layout and isolation points.

  • Handover dossier

As-built drawings, test reports, certificates, manuals and warranties.

  • Spares and contacts

Recommended spares, escalation contacts and the warranty process.

Dossier, training record and a fire-service visit. Schematic, not to scale.

Questions about our process

It depends on size, equipment lead times and approvals. We set out a schedule at the design stage.

Specialist civil or fire-system work may be, under our supervision. We name subcontractors in advance.

You do. We make raw data access a requirement in equipment specifications and share it with you.

Yes. Some owners want only a study, installation or O&M. The role is agreed in writing at the start.
